Programme Coordinator - TFO


The Programme Coordinator, TFO has primary responsibility for co-ordinating and supporting the planning and execution of medical specialist training programmes. The Coordinator supports the relationship between RCPI and trainees throughout the training programmes, ensuring both integrity and quality is maintained and communicating and involving relevant stakeholders including trainees, trainers, programme directors and National Specialty Directors.

Coordinator Education Delivery

Fixed Term

RCPI is seeking to appoint a Programme Coordinator. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for the management and delivery of Education Programmes which encompass courses and educational events for physicians and other healthcare professionals. This candidate will work closely with a range of RCPI departments and external stakeholders including other healthcare related institutions.

Programme Manager SQI


RCPI is seeking to appoint a Programme Manager on a Fixed Term basis to the National Specialty Quality Improvement (NSQI) Programmes. The Programme Manager will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the National SQI Programme working closely with key stakeholders and participating hospitals. The successful candidate will also work closely with colleagues across RCPI departments and with external stakeholders. Closing date Wednesday, August 31st 2022

Administrator, Professional Competence


The RCPI is seeking to appoint an administrator to join the Professional Competence team. The Administrators primary responsibility is to co-ordinate and support the operation of RCPI’s 11 Professional Competence Schemes (PCS) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Event Approval Process. The Administrator supports the relationship between RCPI and Professional Competence participants, ensuring both integrity and quality is maintained. They are also responsible for communicating with and involving relevant stakeholders including PCS participants, CPD Event Organisers, RCPI Training Bodies and the Medical Council. The Administrator works closely with the Manager and the Head of the Healthcare Leadership within the Function and the Director of Professional Competence. It also involves close collaboration with all functions within RCPI to ensure the work of the Professional Competence Department is understood and communicated throughout the organisation. Project Manager

IT Services is responsible for delivering and accelerating the digital technologies transformation project portfolio within RCPI. It manages digital innovation, creates value for RCPI through technology, manages the technical infrastructure and architecture, and supports staff and stakeholders through this transformation while reducing complexity, cost and risk for the organisation. RCPI are recruiting a Project Manager to work within the Project Services team in RCPI IT Services to deliver services to internal clients and manage complex projects and programmes. The Project Services team manages a number of exciting organisational change projects and programmes, including large multiyear and complex projects working with external partners and suppliers. Project Manager, Forum of Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Bodies (Forum)

Two Year Fixed Term Contract

The Forum of Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Bodies (Forum) was established in December 2006 with the aim of supporting the postgraduate training bodies in maintaining the highest standards in Medical Education and Training in Ireland. The postgraduate training bodies, through the Forum, provide a key leadership role in the promotion of a common strategic policy with a shared vision and common goals for excellence in postgraduate medical education and training. The Forum now wishes to recruit a Project Manager to lead the executive development and delivery of the Strategic Framework. The Project Manager will be accountable for the performance of responsibilities to the Programme Strategy Implementation Manager and the Secretary of the Forum. The RCPI will act as the principal employer for the person appointed as Project Manager. The Project Manager will report administratively to Forum Manager. Programme Coordinator NIAC

The Programme Coordinator has primary responsibility for co-ordinating the archiving of documentation produced by NIAC. The Coordinator supports the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and coordinates the evaluation of NIAC processes with the aim of identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and enhanced productivity. Coordinator, Examinations


The RCPI would like to invite applicants for the position of Coordinator in our Examinations Department. The successful candidate will have responsibility for coordinating, developing and delivering a number of examinations both nationally and internationally. The Coordinator supports the relationship between RCPI, trainees, international candidates and a number of key stakeholders ensuring the quality and integrity of the examination process is upheld to meet with international best practice. The role works closely within a team environment and the person will liaise directly and support various Directors, Chairs, Board Members, Convenors, Examiners, hospital staff and invigilators. Events Coordinator


The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) is seeking to appoint an Events Coordinator to join our Events Team to deliver our popular conferences and webinars for our doctors and other healthcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us to deliver a blend of online, hybrid and in-person events, including conferring’s, at our historic home on No 6 Kildare Street.
