Voting is now open

The voting for the election of 4 Ordinary Councillors to the RCPI Council, the ultimate decision-making body of the College, opened on Friday, 12 August 2022. Civica Election Services (CES) is administering the online election on behalf of RCPI. On 12 August, all Fellows of the College in good standing will receive an email from CES with a unique link to the online ballot sheet

What's new in 2022?

Following the implementation of our new governance structure from this year onwards, there will be an election each year for 4 Ordinary Councillors on RCPI Council. This year the 4 Ordinary Councillor seats available are as follows:

• Medicine (2 seats)
• Pathology (1 seat)
• Public Health (1 seat)

Who can vote?

All Fellows of the College (FRCPI) in good standing are eligible to vote. 

Election 2022 Timelines

• 12 August 2022 – Ballot opens. All Fellows of the College in good standing can vote.
  All Fellows of the College in good standing will receive a link to vote via email on Friday, 12 August 2022. This email will come from Civica Election Services (CES) who are managing the election vote.
• 16 September 2022 – Ballot closes
